I went to Madeline's during my lunch break to find an evening dress for my wedding. The store seemed a bit busy and cramped - the non-wedding dresses are all on the main floor. The first room had dresses sorted by color. They were hard to look through as they were all protected with plastic, but a lot of them still dragged on the floor. I went through the entire room with not one associate greeting me.
The second room seemed like it had more clearance items. There was a nice Asian girl who finally acknowledged me and asked me if I needed help.
Most of the clearance dresses were in large sizes. I had one dress in my hand and this one young girl associate approached me in a very snobby manner and asked "Can I put that in the fitting room for you?" which I find rude as I have worked in retail - she could have at least asked me if I was finding everything ok...I asked her what the price of the dress was since there was no tag...then she seemed very hesitant and rushed to help me. She was even more disrespectful to me when I told her the dress did not fit.
I will not be returning.
