A couple of examples: (1) a friend's wife had hip surgery. She's been waiting for 2 months for them to schedule physical therapy in spite of friends' frequent telephone calls for help.
(2) Personal experience: I was referred here by my neurologist, whose office is within the block. After a month and no call from them, I called to see why I had not heard from them. They claimed they had no referral. Neurologist's office claimed it had been sent a month before. Called Core again, they claimed referral was for shoulder. Neurologist said, no Knee. Finally got in. (Forget getting them on the telephone -- they don't answer it. You have to leave message, and they MAY call you back.) Dr. Mark Campbell is very personable and appears very capable. We agreed to surgery. He said his scheduler would call with appointment date. After a week, I began frequently calling and leaving messages. Finally, a week and a half later a lady with a very nice called, apologized, said she had sent my primary doctor a exam request, and was sorry but the scheduler was not in. My primary doctor's office called the next morning saying they had the exam request; I explained the primary doctor's exam has to be within 30 days of surgery and as of that time I had no surgery date. Several days later a scheduler called with a date which would have been more than 30 days from the date of the primary doctor's exam. The scheduler said she'd send my primary doctor a exam request. I explained one had been sent, she said she'd send one anyway. Thank God I cancelled.
Dr. Campbell is very personable and appears to be very capable, but he can be no more effective than his support staff, which is atrocious.
