| - ! Beware! The Shady business practices of this office. I was going to lease a home with them but thankfully I'm very thorough and found many of their policies dishonest.
The first problem was when I was talking to Joan Kuptz Delgado, one of the Property Managers, she told me that I needed to pay the entire deposit of 1500 right away because the lease wasn't ready yet. When I asked about the lease, she made it seem like it was this arduous task to write the lease and that she was very busy.
I looked it up online and the reason some dishonest agencies do this, is because they don't want you to negotiate the lease terms. They hold your deposit hostage against you, if you are hesitant to sign the lease. Mind you, that I have excellent credit, high income and a very clean background.
So I told them I would not pay the deposit without seeing the lease and wala! the lease was in my email, the same day.
Next I read the entire lease and you should do so too! The entire lease is totally lopsided, with you being responsible for "minor repairs", landscaping, pest control; pretty much everything except for a major repair. It's like you're buying the house.
When I tried to negotiate a better rate, after lots of pointless back and forth, the only thing they would do, is knock off 25 dollars the landscaping, which they wanted me to pay all of. I moved on and found a much better offer elsewhere.
I do give them one single star for a friendly receptionists that helped me promptly, when I turned in my application.
