I first learned of the Neon Boneyard a few years ago while watching the Amazing Race where on the final leg of of the race the teams had to race over here and look for a clue in the boneyard. I made a mental note at that time that it was a place I'd like to visit. Fast forward to 2017, and I added this to our list of things to see/do on our Vegas trip. Their website is very helpful, and I'm glad I checked it out before we arrived. It's a guided tour, groups are small, and you should make reservations because spots fill up fast, especially for the night tours. We booked a night tour because I wanted to see the signs lit up, and obviously, it's much cooler at night than day. The tour guides are well versed on Vegas history and the origins of the signs. They have recently added a few photos inside the waiting area to give you an idea of how the signs originally appeared in their glory days. Out in the boneyard, there are many signs, but not all of them have been restored. Only some of them will be lit up and only some of them are points of focus on the tour. I really enjoyed the tour and learned some interesting facts. It's an intriguing combination of a history tour and art tour. I highly recommend.
