  • First I tried going to the Tropical Smoothie Cafe on Fort Apache. Despite it being 10 mins to closing time, they said they were already closed. Okay I could deal with that. So I drove around and found this Tropical Smoothie Cafe that had a 24 hour drive through window. I wasn't really sure that I wanted a smoothie, and maybe that was my mistake. So I decided to order one of their sandwiches. Big miscalculation. I ordered the Hummus Among Us. It is literally two slices of store bought bread, with store bought hummus, tomatoes, peppers and lettuce stuffed in between. For that amount of effort it shouldn't have taken more than a minute to make the thing, yet it did.
