  • My friends and I were staying at the Luxor and were looking for a TV to watch the Cubs game the night we flew in. Centra was an easy find and had a ton of TVs on, so we decided to check it out. The bar has a Moroccan feel to it with some lounge type seats surrounding the bar which has some cool lights hanging around it. It's in the middle of the gambling floor which puts you in the middle of the action. They typically have a DJ playing some top 40 mixes which I personally enjoyed a lot. Music isn't overly loud so you'll still able to easily talk with friends. Drinks are moderately priced for Vegas and they do have some specials for a good price. We took advantage of the deal with the shots which were a good size. Mainly I wanted to write this review to rave about a waitress we had multiple times over the course of our stay, Takara. Takara took care of us three times we stopped by Centra and she was amazing. Not too overbearing but still checked in at a good pace. We had a different waitress one night and she was rude and inattentive. Each time we got Takara though we were happy with our service. I'd keep coming back to Centra if I knew Takara would be our server, so really these five stars are for her.
