  • Just as we were eating our wedding anniversary dinner last year at Lemon Bistro, my wife noticed a small sign on the road with a picture of a heart and the word "Gelato". We decided while we were on our excursion @ Main Street Markham, we should try it out. So after our dinner, we followed the signs across the street and decided to try it out. Not much to say except LOVE IT. I just wished they had a coffee flavour to compare it against the late xococava. Fast forward over half a year later after my diet. Decided to take a detour coming home from Markham Subaru to try this place again. Place still looked relatively the same without the apparel. Saw two air cadets I think and the gelato-rista was explaining the difference between Gelato and ice cream to them. At the moment they still had the same fridge that they had before. I sampled almost all of them (I didn't bother with chocolate since I am not a fan and I did find their raspberry to be sour so I didn't bother with the Lemon). Still annoyed that they didn't have the coffee flavor. Just bad timing I guess. However, they did say they'd be increasing their line up to 18 flavours at a time. Hopefully they'd have it then soon. So why 5-stars? great taste, price matches the quality, the gelato-rista is pretty chatty so it makes the experience more fun unlike the vinegar shop just north of it.
