We go here often when all the typical brunch places have lines on a Saturday morning. The first caveat is that this is a training facility for other Good Egg facilities. There is often inconsistency for this reason. So it has been explained to my favorite breakfast crew and me. Service, cooking, quality all impacted. (Heck, today even the soda was off.)
Mom loves the Lumberjack Skillet. I love the crazy pancakes that even insulin can't forgive, Pineapple Upside Down, in particular. My other favorite here is the rye bread. Oops, I mean Rueben Sandwich. Sure I love the looks at Miracle Mile, but Good Egg has perfected the portions of sauerkraut to Swiss to meat... and then there is the star of the show, which I already gave top billing...hear the angels singing?... the rye bread! A particular favorite pairing (no they don't serve wine! It's a breakfast place!) is with their chicken enchilada soup. The soup is a bit spicy, but so good!
