  • I've been here twice this year and enjoyed it both times! Great ambiance overlooking the lake of dreams where it starts at 7pm and play every often the bizarre dreams of Mr. Wynn. Highly recommend reservation ahead of time and be sure to request a table by the lake. Service was very attentive and the menu is quite extensive. SW did a great job in every category of the menu. Menu may be on pricier end but it's all quality. Expect to allocate about 2 hours for dinner. Appetizers: Complimentary house bread - must try the bacon bread with house butter, but friendly reminder not to eat so much! Hudson Valley Foie gras appetizer with apple compote - one of the best foie gras! It was tender and the sweetness of the apple compote balance the flavor of foie gras. It was lightly seared and very flavorful. We chose the appetizer instead of the compliment with the steak because the appetizer comes with the compote. Tuna tartare with sesame wafer - On par with fresh fish serve in a highly rated Japanese restaurant. Actually, this may be more fresh and better then most Japanese restaurant! I skipped the sesame wafer for the tuna tartare alone was fresh and delicious. Domestic wagyu from Snake river farms NY strip 10oz $80 - Charred and the steak was done medium rare to perfection. The flavor and balance of the fat in the steak was mouth-watering. For a NY strip, it was quite fatty like a ribeye and I enjoyed every bite of it. Complimented with enoki mushroom. Wagyu A5 from Kagoshima prefecture 4oz $140 compliment with chopped greens (chinese brocoli?) - We ordered both domestic and Japanese Wagyu to compare it side by side. The 4 oz portion was a generous amount of meat and I almost couldn't finish. It was lightly seared to medium rare. As compared to domestic, A5 wagyu has more meaty taste, less seasoning, and less flaming char flavor. It was also not as salty as the domestic one. Both wagyu was very enjoyable and was different in taste. sauteed spinach - crispy and tasty carrots - sweet and fresh funnel cake with strawberry and 3 dipping sauce (anglaise, salty caramel, and chocolate) - it was good, but a bite too much carb to my liking. I only ate one funnel cake and it was very filling. You have the option to order half order with 3 funnel cakes ($10), instead of 6 ($20).
