This was the worst nail experience of my life. Just horrible.
1st. They shouted at me to give them the nail polishes I picked out because they said I was going to drop them and break them. I was sitting and had a firm hold on them. She yanked them out of my hands. So that was unsettling but fine.
2nd. I saw a number of the nail techs yell at kids and customers. In no way being gentle about it. Unacceptable to yell at a small boy who was behaving beautifully.
3rd. I don't care who speaks English but if you cannot understand when someone is telling you that you are causing them horrible pain you need to not be working on customers. I have an ingrown that is damaged and kept asking her to be careful and ignore that toe other than to paint yet she kept filing it and causing extreme pain. She kept taking her dirty fingernail all around my toe. Painful and unnecessary. The excuse from people around her was that she doesn't speak English. Fine but when I bent to show her she tilted me back and acted like I had done something wrong. Unacceptable.
4th. I got switched for my fingers. She again was rude. She cut my finger. It was pooling blood. Yet when I mentioned that she cut me she said I came in that way. When I told my friend she cut me she Inturrupted and again said she didn't cut me. Actually said it more than once. I got my nails done red and she kept saying the blood was red paint even though she hadn't started painting. Most disturbing and illegal and unsanitary was that she was not wearing gloves and did not put them on as I was bleeding.
5th. This place just isn't cheap enough for that level of shitty service. I was in for my birthday. Thought I'd treat myself and my friend recommended it so we went there. For 4 bucks more I can go to my usual place where they speak to me, don't make my feet and hand bleed, and they aren't rude.
This was the first time in my life that I didn't tip and I don't feel bad about it. Horrid experience. Save yourself and pick a place that doesn't resemble a sweat shop and has nice people working.
