| - Wow, there's not a lot of places where the service AND the food leaves you in awe. I guess a reservation wouldn't be necessary but it was definitely nice to have since it was getting somewhat crowded. We had the pleasure of being waited by a very friendly gentlemen who we learned lived in San Jose (where we're from) for some time and he was really attentive and friendly.
As for the food, we ordered the infamous portobello fries, mac and cheese, carne asada bone marrow, and 2 steaks. You can probably skip the mac and cheese because although it was good, it isn't really different from other mac and cheese at other restaurants. The bone marrow and fries, on the other hand, were some of the best appetizers I've ever had. Also, they sous vide the steaks so it was very nicely cooked and tender.
The other thing I wanted to mentioned was that our main course took quite some time to come out and so they gave us free dessert haha. I mean, the dessert wasn't even valued at 10% of our bill, but hey, free stuff is free stuff.
