A family memeber and myself came here for lunch. We ordered a varied and large amount of food off the menu. We enjoyed almost all of it with only a couple of let downs.
All of the more tapas like dishes and sashimi we ordered was excellent. The wagyu sliders were juicy with a good accompanying sauce. The fish tacos had a good batter with moist and flaky fish inside. The three orders of baked mussels we got were eaten in a matter of minutes. The salmon nigiri was buttery, and the yellowtail sashimi was some of the best tasting I have had at any Japanese or sushi restaurant. Pork belly that didn't just taste like a fatty piece of bacon. While these were just some of the highlights, there were other tasty dishes.
Now for the unfortunate subpar orders we got. All of the sushi rolls we got were unforgettable with not a lot of flavor. Tastes that were similar to a premade roll out of a grocery store. The spicy tuna on their version of a tiger roll didn't have any flavor. The shrimp tempura roll had a lot of cream cheese in it to where the flavors of the shrimp and eel sauce didn't come through.
Service was amazing. Everything came out back to back, empty plates were promptly cleared, and none of our orders were missing or incorrect.
Even with the couple of negatives I really enjoyed the food here, and my family member shared the same sentiment. We will both be coming back here and would recommend this place to others.
