  • I'm a hair-snob-junkie-beotch. There, I said it. I have blonde as Barbie strands with 18 inch micro link extensions and I love every minute of dealing with the washing, drying, and styling of my fake mane. So, you can imagine what type of customer I might be to a hair salon ... except, Isle of You didn't make me feel that way. Shari brought me in for a consultation to ensure her comfort with my hair, and talked to me a little bit about her expertise in hair color, but didn't push it on me. She knew I needed help with the extensions, but I signed on for some highlights too. The experience was fantastic. Shari is personable, knowledgeable, plays some eclectic music, and has a cool selection of locally procured scented trinkets to check out while your hair is processing. She uses a great line of both Wella and a new brand No. 4 products, and is completely on point with current trends in the field. She also only has two chairs in her salon, so you are getting 100% personalized attention during your time there. And most importantly - my hair looks amazing. I love the color, and she was patient with the arduous task of tightening and resetting my 75 or so links (and a little bang trim, too). To those of you who look at her website or pics and see a bunch of funky colors - yes, she is totally capable of transforming you in a number of ways; but she has expertise in every area of color and style.
