  • Let me start by saying I went to at least 3 other comic book stores before landing here. My 5 year old son is obsessed with the Flash. Me, wishing he was into a more common hero like Batman or Superman, realized that I wouldn't find Flash things in regular stores, so I started looking in comic book stores. A few other stores had limited items due to the tv show being very popular, understandable. But kept going along my search for...anything, really. When my husband and I got here, we were impressed with the selection. We walked around for a little, finding little Flash things (magnet, comics and things of the sort). We were approached by Julien, who said he was the store manager or store owner (can't recall) and asked if we needed help. We told him about our relentless search and he started walking with us around the store. He found gems we overlooked, one including a Flash action figure which is rare! He looked for posters and other things as well, recommending a certain comic for a younger crowd. The reason I am writing this review is because of all the other comic book stores, he was the only one who actually took his time with us. He heard our needs and tried really hard to meet them, which included calling other stores looking for other things he didn't have. You know those little machines where you put a few quarters in, turn the dial, and a small prize pops out? I was joking, asking him how much I had to pay him to open them so I can hand select the small Flash things they had. The price was free because without hesitation he got the keys and opened it for us. Now I just wanted the small dog tag, but he continued to open all the other machines and got me one of every Flash toy they had. I was amazed by the generosity and legitimate care he had for 2 random people looking for a specific hero for their toddler. I told him I never wrote a Yelp review before, and it's true. This is my first. All because of his absolute kindness and just the time he took. Check out was fast, the cashier was nice and talked to us a little, about the Flash of course, and I left very happy. This is my go to place now. Thank you, Julien!!!
