  • I would also rate zero stars, if possible. I made a reservation for a midsize car 2 months in advance. When I arrived today, they stated that they only had minivans available but that they'd be willing to "upgrade" to the minivan for free! Counter person bordered on rude. I quickly left and received both good service and a good car from Avis. Never again Thrifty!
