I had the worst experience ever at this place. We had been going to Zen for the past year and got a massage here every month.
Last November, we made our monthly massage appt and my husband asked for a specific massage therapist.
When we reached there he was given another message therapist without any explanation. When we asked for the specific massage therapist, we were told she was unavailable even though he has made an appt with her. This was the second time he had not gotten the therapist he wanted.
We still decided to go through with the massage which turned out to be a really bad idea. The therapist had cold hands and the massage was terrible.
We told the front desk lady about our experience and she told us that she would take care of it and we would not be charged. Of course, a charge showed up on a credit card bill.
When we called to talk about the charge, a very rude lady hung up the phone on us. We called back again and were told that somebody would call us back to talk about this charge. No one called back. We decided to go to Zen and talk to them about it. The lady at the front desk told us that somebody would call us but of course no one did call us back AGAIN.
This time when we called back we were told that the owner does not want to refund the money. The owner of this center who also happens to be the owner of the franchise.
In summary, we are repeat customers who get a bad massage and you tell us you will take care of it but then you charge us for it, provide bad customer service and refuse to give the money back?? This is a place where people come to relax, really?? We still haven't gotten our money back and we are never going back to this place.
