Booked through Hotwire. Website says that checking in should take between 15 and 25 minutes. TWO HOURS LATER, I'm finally next in line. Hand the agent my confirmation, my drivers' licence, and my credit card (all listed on the confirmation to have ready). Agent YELLS at me where's proof of insurance?! Ok, I pull it from my wallet and hand it to him. I'm the third person included on this policy so my name doesn't print out on the card. I've used this card to rent cars from Alamo, Avis, Hertz, and a couple others. They always just accept it. Not Hassan! He yelled at me (YELLED AT ME!) that it wasn't good enough, get better information and back to the end of the line! I said "What?! If you need more information than is on the card, the agent's name and number is listed and he'll confirm for you." Then he yells (YELLS!) for me to Get out! Unbelievable! I walk 15 steps away to the next counter (Avis) and within 7 minutes am driving away. So now I will call Hotwire and VISA and dispute the charge on Monday and will NEVER go to Advantage again. Run - don't walk. Or like Hassan said (more than once) GET OUT!
