  • Pros: Cheap bottles of wine Good wine, particularly their sweet reds Cons: Wine tastings - you get 3 free wine tastings before you have to buy a "souvenir glass" for more tastings, a full glass of wine, or a whole bottle Parking - you park in the grass yard Crowding - there is no flow. People bump into each other. You have to move away from the service bar so the servers can get bottles from out of the fridge that's outside of the bar. Seating - all tables are first come first serve Food - while technically not part of the winery, the barbecue outside is overpriced and mediocre at best. I ordered a brisket sandwich and buffalo chicken dip. The brisket sandwich was terrible. The brisket was cold, heat lamped beef. The barbecue sauce on the brisket was runny, and flavorless. The only flavor that the sandwich provided was from the brie cheese. With all that said, the buffalo dip was okay. It was cold, made from canned chicken, and just mixed with some regular ranch. Service - this is what prompted me to sign up for yelp. If you're the designated driver, prepare to bring cash so you can buy $1, 15 ounce bottles of water. The server we had was friendly, but observing the other servers was its own entertainment, as they were rude to their customers. We saw that they offer wine slushies for sale, and loved the idea of it! They had just refilled the machine, so I asked how long should I wait before I come back to order one, to which I was told 45 minutes. I came back 45 minutes later, and asked for my red wine slushie. The server went to get it, but the machine just exploded all over her hands and feet with red wine. She was polite, and let us know that it wasn't ready, but her co-worker joked that we could just try it off her foot. No, thanks. I said I'd come back in 45 minutes, and I did, only the slushy still wasn't ready. I came back a third 45 minute period later, and saw the slushies were prime and ready to go! This was the moment I had waited all night for! I ask for a slushy, and the server looks at her watch, and let me know they just stopped serving at 9:00. It was 9:02. I understand that their rules are their rules, but when another server said, "We can't sell you one, that's what we drink when we get off," that's when it was time to leave. I'm giving this a 1 star rating, but don't let it take away from the one good server, and the wine being tasty, and priced decently.
