| - Del Frisco's was on our to do list for a Bachelor Party I went to, and quite frankly-I feel like I'll have to pay this place a visit every time I visit Vegas.
I'm going to go straight to the food. Some delicious, warm sesame bread and butter came out. Moments later, we ordered the crab cakes which was sitting in a pool of sauce that my brother says they use the enriching guts inside the grab (much tastier than it sounds). This was hands down the best crab cake I have eaten in my life - just lumps and lumps of fresh crab that made you think they literally JUST cracked a crab open and just used the meat from that...
For 6 guys, we ordered 3 of these Flintstones specials (Wagu (sp?) bone-in ribeye). These feed 2 people for about $90. When they came out, they were piping hot and we ordered them 3 diff ways: medium, medium rare, and rare (warm). They seemed to have cooked it all appropriate though the medium rare and rare didn't seem to different in terms of color. But why nitpick? After taking a bite into this piece of meat, you're mind just savors the simplicity of the salt/pepper and natural juices of the meat. OMG, as you get closer and closer to the actual bone, it just tastes great.
You'll have to order some sides to go along with you meal. We opted for the lobster mac and cheese (5/5), the potatoes gratin with bacon, though my actual scoop didn't have any (4/5) and the mushrooms (4/5). If you have 6 hungry guys, probably order one of each will be enough since you still have a ways to go for the rest of the evening and don't want to be stuffed... if not, maybe double up on one of the side dishes or order another one.
Service was great, seemed like 6+ people were tending to our table. It kind of reminded me of a Nascar race when the car needs to make a pit stop. Drinks are reasonably priced here as well, surprisingly.
Man, I need to plan my next trip just so I can hit up Del Frisco's again!
