The mountain bike trail here may be short but it's a killer. I thought I was in reasonable riding shape until I took a jaunt around this narrow singletrack on a tacky, but not quite muddy day. What makes this one hard is not the distance (I think the trail is only 2 miles or so total) but the fact that it's very technical. There are a lot of sharp turns and quick ups and downs. You'll spend most of the ride standing otherwise you will spend it falling down a small drop-off. It's great fun if you do a fair amount of riding but it's probably not the best place for beginners.
I love this trail but I still have troubles on it when I go. My thighs and lungs are always burning when I'm done!
I would certainly recommend avoiding this trail if it has rained in the last week since it becomes nearly impossible to ride when it's mucky unless you are a pro (which I am definitely not).
This is a nice little gem in the middle of Cleveland and kind of a surprise when you finally discover it. I almost hate to tell people about it because I know that it will eventually become overcrowded as do all lovely places. But since I did, see you there! I'll be the chubby guy sweating blood and having an asthma attack on the side of the trail!
