Been here 4-5 times and the ribs are always dry and undercooked. The meat stuck so much to the bones I had to tear it off with quite a lot of perpendicular force.
The half chicken portion is generous and has the best value for the price. It's smokey and quite tender. But the chicken skin is too dry. It's not 'bite through'.
The brisket has a nice smoke ring and is tender. The burnt ends were a bit chewy though.
The pulled pork is nice with the sweet sauce, but I prefer a fruity sauce over a molasses-brown-sugar sauce.
The fried mac n cheese is my favorite side, mainly because it's fried to perfection and didn't taste too much like imitation cheese.
The average quality of the BBQ is probably worth 3.5/5, considering every item on the menu, mostly due to the dry-as-f*ck ribs.
I want to see the BBQ scene grow in Montreal so I'll support this with a 4/5.
