We've been in search of great pizza with no "attitude" since coming to Scottsdale seven years ago and Il Bosco has been added to our great list. We ate at Il Bosco last night and had a lovely evening. The outside patio area is very cozy and quaint. Service was outstanding (Pomo could really take lessons from the Il Bosco servers). We ordered a Caesar salad to share which the server (who I think may have been the owner) happily offered to split. Our pizza choice was the Dona which was delicious with melty cheese, perfectly seasoned red sauce, salty pancetta and sliced Roma tomatoes. Before dinner teasers of delicious olives and fresh sourdough bread with a fruity yummy olive oil to dip in were an excellent appetite opener. The after dinner homemade amaretto was a perfect ender. During our visit we noticed several take out customers leaving with not just one or two boxes of pizza but three, four and five boxes. We knew we had arrived at the right place to satisfy our pizza cravings. Thanks Il Bosco for a great experience.
