Ok OK I am a year late in this review
Toronto can learn a lot from other cities but unfortunately we will never get the free wheeling food truck offerings that other cities enjoy
Take the Naaco Truck which is a mixture of Indian and Mexican themes. I love both foods so I lets pony on up to the window and order a few Naaco's
The pulled pork came with a apricot chutney on top, carrot and cabbage slaw salad on the side and Delicious pulled pork spiced with various secret mumbai spices. The shell of the taco is actually a naan bread.
I also had to have the chicken or butter variant version as well and it was very very good. It may be too soggy or wet for some people but it butter chicken after all
What is wonderful about the food truck movement is the micro kitchens bring innovation in food to the people on the street in a way the owners who cannot afford a bricks and mortars restaurant a chance to create jobs and boost local economies.
Guess what the owner, Aman also gives back to a charity every month which also adds to the Naaco love
