| - Yum!!
So, we decided to order pizza at work and really wanted Naked City. We'd heard so many great things about the pizza and were seriously salivating after looking at the menu online.
The location on Paradise is closest to us, so we tried to place an order online. The website is horrible and wouldn't allow us to place an order, so I called. Unfortunately, the person I spoke with was totally clueless. She said she didn't think they had a delivery driver yet and to call back in 15 minutes or to try the other (this) location.
So, I called the Arville location. The young lady I spoke with was very friendly, but said that we were out of their delivery area. I explained the situation and how the Paradise location had bascially said they couldn't help us, even though we are less than a mile from them. The kitchen manager ended up getting on the line and she was awesome. I explained to her what happened and she said that, although they typically don't deliver to our area, they would take our order and get everything straightened out.
We placed a fairly large order:
Pizza logs - Hand rolled egg roll wrappers stuffed with pepperoni, mozzarella and red sauce. These were good, but VERY greasy. Beware. Also, the cheese was not evenly distributed and the red sauce was on the side (for some reason I expected it to be inside).
Guinea's Pie - Featured on Diners, Drive Ins & Dives Meatballs, spinach, ricotta, white garlic sauce and mozzarella cheese. VERY good. Although I had to add red pepper flakes for a little spice.
Steak and Cheese Pizza - Sirloin steak, three cheese mix, sweet and hot peppers, onion and white garlic sauce. My favorite that we ordered! It was really good and super cheesy and the jalapeno added good heat.
Fatboy Pizza - Salami, pepperoni, ham, Italian sausage, roma tomato, mozzarella cheese, fresh basil and red sauce. My least favorite. Not because it was bad, but it was just typical pizza. The other 2 pizzas were somewhat unique, and this wasn't. It was good, but just didn't compare to the others.
Overall, it was expensive (basically $90 for everything, including delivery fee and tip). Not something we would order often, but the 3 "not so wee" sized pizzas were HUGE and we still have leftovers.
I am really happy that Nicole, the kitchen manager agreed to assist us. Unlike the Paradise location, she didn't turn us away and was happy to make things right. It's things like that that will make me order again.
