I think the best thing to say is variety. I had been there in the past and thought the food was better. We got there before the dinner rush and I think the food doesn't turn fast enough. Some things dried out and others sort of withered. The more popular stations seemed to be in good shape, but in disarray. It almost appeared as if they were replacing some of the food items and didn't put them back in the right order. Sometimes there was no rhyme or reason.
The prime rib was RARE and my kids could not eat it, even after looking forward to a big slab of meat (they are carnivores). Overall they were happy and left with a full belly.
If you are going to go, head to the strip and find the Tickets 4 Today booths. Head in there and they sell discount buffet tickets. Pretty good if you are going to take the family.
