  • First things first...I live in Central Phoenix, I work in North Scottsdale, the only reason I was making a trek across the valley to BFE was because of the stellar customer service I received from Acura of Peoria just about a year ago. The first time I visited this Acura dealership, I believe I was assisted by a guy named Joe (or at least that's what I called him). He was outstanding and had amazing customer service skills (I don't ask for much, smiling is always a good start). This time I worked with Mike (or at least that's what I called him). I called in the previous afternoon because I wasn't quite sure what was wrong with my car, so I wanted to give them a heads up that I might need a loaner if it was going to take longer than 10-15 minutes to fix the issue, I spoke with a female receptionist (didn't get her name though) and she assured me that it wouldn't be any problem. I also let her know that I wasn't sure if I'd be able to make it there that evening before they closed, so it was possible that I wouldn't get there until the next morning. She said that that would not be a problem either. Long story short, I made it to the dealership the next morning. Asked to speak to 'Mike' and was told to have a seat in the waiting room. When 'Mike' came over to speak to me, he already had an attitude and said [I'm paraphrasing here] 'We thought you were going to be here yesterday and we don't have any loaner cars for you, I'll be back after we diagnose the issue'...very matter-of-factly...which is fine, unless you are in customer service. I know this sounds like a 1-star review, but there is an upside...wait for it... The added star comes from him not trying to sell me a battery. I had just purchased a battery the year before and it turned out that I had a dud. Thank you for not taking advantage of me or try to nickel and dime me being stuck out in the middle of BFE, but the shoddy customer service simply isn't worth an hour+ drive. With all of the negative reviews on here, you would think that would be the easiest thing for them to work on. Attitude.
