| - I have gone twice to Doctor Finkelstein now. First visit, extremely informative, empathetic, patient, listened, etc. Totally empathized with me after hearing how I was treated by doctor Rosenstein while still trying to get me to understand what doctors go through, etc.( I appreciated that)
Second visit I took my husband (well, he decided to go because he had been very worried after see how bad I was for two months).
During my first visit Finkelstein had set me up to do a Ct scan. His office staff, so nice!! It was a gift from a higher power at this point (how I viewed it) .
I was on my fourth different type of antibiotic at this point & had seen what looked like stones in the toilet over the past week, 3 stones. Mind you it took over 6 weeks to pass them on my own.
Needless to say, by the time I went in for my second visit with Finkelstein, I was feeling MUCH better, literally back to normal besides some pelvic pressure & abnormal bleeding.
He was his typical dry numerous self which my husband & I both take well to. I opted not to do THE cystoscopy at the time due to my bleeding but rescheduled. He went over everything with us & endured my tedious questions. He said everything looked good at this point, stone had passed, my infection had cleared up (from the ultrasound at Rosenstein office showed stones, he did a simple urine test too which showed signs of infection & stones but his office staff wrote no bacteria detected which Finkelstein pointed out & told me that was odd as those results would signify infection and/or stones to him & his staff if they had done it in his office , I was appreciative of his candor) But now in Dr Finkelsteins office a month later things are looking better! He did point to an area in my uterus saying it looks "crowded" in there & you should probably see your gynecologist & asked if I had one. I said yes, I've had the same gyno for 20 years & would call them asap. The radiologist reported issues in my uterus also so that did not surprise me & im not someone who freaks out over things so after the appt, I called Dr.Sauters office & made the appointment!
All in all, I like Dr.Finkelstein, he comes across very human & I like that quality in my physicians.
So, thank you Dr.Finkelstein & USN staff for the humane & kind treatment, please keep it up. I know how hard it must be in this era to be a specialist care center in an area where there is too many patients & not enough specialists, you are doing a wonderful job!
