| - Owner seemed a bit stand-offish at first but then opened up and we all shared about family, education, and life goals. That personal connection was a nice touch.
Seeing that this is a business, you know she is definitely doing her thing and trying to represent at the same time. I honestly didn't look at many prices.. love Bob Marley, but I'm not going to buy a bath towel or blanket with his face on it. There are some cool products like raw shea butter which I use.. did buy some, wanted to get more but it was really expensive.. that's because I'm from Philly and it's mad cheap there, but you know I recognize this is Charlotte and haven't seen that many holistic, local health or African shops. There is an unaffiliated Jamaican shop next door, really wanted some sour sop juice but they didn't have any. Anyways, I like to support local, small businesses. I would return to check out their essential oils, black soap and get more raw shea when I run out. Also would check out getting some flags and tickets to reggae events.
