| - Taking a cooking class here will be informative, entertaining, and absolutely delicious! I have taken several courses here, ranging from ''Boot Camp' to ''Mexican Street Food". The last few I have taken have been taught by Chef Jenna Barr, whose credentials include being a graduate of the Le Cordon Bleu and head Pastry Chef at the Hard Rock Hotel here. In spite of (or because of?) her expertise, she is an AMAZING instructor. Her cake decorating classes gave me the nudge I needed to start baking in a serious way for friends and family, and then her subsequent classes (the latest being Pizza, Calzones, and Joelhos (Brazilian bread pockets of sheer BLISS: co-taught by Chef Darby, a pastry goddess in her own right) have brought my courage and skills even higher. She is super-patient, kind, has tons of practical knowledge to share, and most importantly, is approachable and gets a thrill from YOU learning and then owning a technique. All those pro-tips and tricks? You'll get them! I can't recommend her or the entire staff and slate of classes at The Cooking Experience enough. Fantastic!
