| - Very disappointing stay! Lock up everything of value. I accidently brought expensive eyewear with me (I always travel with Dollar Store glasses). I had my passport and laptop in the safe, and debated locking, but instead stuck them in the front part of my suitcase. The housekeeper moved my luggage and my guess is they fell out, as I did not zip that part of my bag. Score for the housekeeper! I reported these stolen glasses to the front desk, who had the head housekeeper search my room to make sure they weren't on the floor. Of course they weren't. They asked the housekeeper about them, and wouldn't you know it? - she denied taking them but admitted moving my bag. It was a "he said, she said" situation. I admit fault as you just can't trust anyone anymore, but as much as I travel, which is 2-3 times a month, have never had anything stolen. Lesson learned!!!!!!!! Management was slightly apologetic, but did not offer extra reward points, free nights, nothing but free parking, which they had screwed up anyway, and only benefited my employer! I am in the hospitality industry, and am beyond disappointed. I will go back to Marriott properties from now on!
