  • My 2004 Audi S4 explodes in the middle of the desert on the way home from visiting my mom for Thanksgiving. I tow it into the dealer. I am out of state, meticulous with my car and am now stuck. I can't go to my Audi dealer so I choose Audi Peoria. They explain that the serpentine belt snapped and was sucked into the crankshaft seal. The car was now leaking a ton of oil. I need a crankshaft seal and the serpentine belt. They also explain that a plastic part on my 840.00 radiator is cracked and needs replacement. They suggest I also do the valve cover gaskets and I agree to everything including the four wheel alignment. I tell them to fix everything and after 100,000 miles to also include the guides! The entire front end has to come off including the bumper so you always do the small stuff while doing this type work! I ask my service adviser MF to throw in an oil change while keeping the car until I come back at Christmas! They keep the car a month and charge me over $3000.00! I leave the dealer optimistic and happy. An hour into my drive the check oil light comes on! Hmmm I guess they didn't do the oil change or replace the oil that leaked out of the broken gaskets that they had just replaced. I happen to carry extra oil on road trips so I just let that slide as I did ask for a freebie, but didn't even check it? Now less than four thousand miles I get to go back and do it all over again! You didn't replace the guides which are now shot and making that grinding noise per my dealer! Thanks for taking care of me Audi Peoria I guess out of state out of mind! 275.00 in parts & 600.00 to go back in and replace them! Loved your response about not fixing them on cars with 100,000+ miles while the belt pretty much destroyed everything else from all the work you did! Just not the guides that hold the belt? Know who your dealing with up front as you have been warned! They did wash it so I guess that's what the one star rating is for!
