I wasn't expecting to pay a "cheap" price. I wanted quality. I do feel I paid to much but I'll explain.
I needed a Saturday apt for my fridge which I figured was a compressor. The technicians arrived in an unmarked vehicle (not a fan of that). They look at it for all of 10 seconds and confirmed my suspicions.
"Its going to be $580 for a new one". Just like that. No explanation of charges or anything. The said i could just let it burn out then buy a new one for about $1300 and my stuff inside might be ruined.
Is $580 for a fridge compressor fair? You judge for yourself.
I reluctantly agreed due to being pressed for time.
These two techs (one in training) must have been family for as much as they argued and bickered to each other. (Not professional in front of the customer).
They quoted it would take an hr. It was more like 2 and I couldn't wait for them to be done. Negativity breeds ands irritates me.
I waited on posting this review so I could at least say whether the quality of repair wasgood. I'm not an appliance tech so I can't vouch for the quality but its been a month and working great. That's only reason for the +1 star.
To Appliance Repair Experts: if you are upset about the job or your trainee, take it away from the ears of people paying your bill. Use marked vehicles or at least let your cust know before you arrive (my wife wouldn't have answered the door).
Use compassion when dealing with people who -1 don't feel the price is fair. -2 are calling you for help with a bad situation. (It felt like we were being mocked and backed into a corner)
