| - there are so many reviews on this hotel... mine is going to be on the negative things that i found about the mandalay.. mostly
security. i imagine things are not as crazy as the three nights i stayed at the mandalay. the latin grammys were taking place so most artist were also staying at the mandalay which means crazy fans harassing celebrities (and regular guests) on their way to the elevators. i had to battle my way into the elevators (and out of) almost every time. fair enough, i guess this is not the mandalays responsibility but maybe they could do something better about this? i literally battled my way into the elevator. 300 style.
inside the room: i did not have a room service menu. messed up cause i get sudden midnight munchies attacks... habitually. im a habitual midnight muncher. true story. another thing about the room. no bathrobe. yeah yeah, sounds picky but whatever. at 350$ per night, i should get an effin bathrobe. period. my key stopped working twice. had it replaced and the same thing happened again. must be malfunctioning.
slow valet service. i understand this is because of how large and popular this hotel is. but i think it also has to do with how complicated the drive-way is. come up with another system. you guys are loaded.
they dont offer shuttle service to the airport. again. at $350 a night, i expect a little service here. the airport is less than 10 mins away. hook your costumers up.
other than that. this hotel is great. elegant rooms, big screen flat tv, flat in the bathroom. bath tub, good soaps and shampoo, comfy bed, great pool, great location, blah blah blah
i would really rate this a 3.5. i cant say if i would stay here again. perhaps next time im in vegas ill look into other hotels around the same price range and compare
