What is the first thing you do when you move to a new neighborhood? You look for local, original, great breakfast joints for those Saturday or Sundays you don't feel like making breakfast at home. Thank goodness there is Yelp and hubby found this place after a little research and we knew we found our place after reading that they use produce from local farms and even some organic ingredients.
I noticed that only a few places in Phoenix take your name down on a Sunday morning, so we headed over there around 9:30 risking a long wait. Surprisingly, we only had to hang around for fifteen minutes before we got seated.
The menu wasn't big and they have really good decaf coffee, so we were off to a great start. As for the breakfast itself goes, hubby is ΒΌ Portuguese, so he had to try the linguica eggs (side of meat biscuit and gravy) and I couldn't take my eyes off of the banana pecan pancakes on the menu. We ended up sharing everything and were super full by the end. The biscuit and gravy tasted super fresh and was probably one of the best I have had.
By the time we left it was 11 am and there was a long line of people outside, so try to go there early if you want to avoid the crowed.
