  • So happy to have found this place. I have been searching for a good Island/Hawaiian restaurant since moving to Vegas 10 years ago and after being sadly disappointed with some of the local spots (L&L and Ohana, not that they were horrible, just not a do again place) But lately I had been craving some good Katsu and hawks in Lau Pork that didn't taste processed or fatty. So I looked up my favorite place back home and copied the number one meal I would order and did a yelp search and Island Flavor popped up... I figured with over 900 reviews and 5stars it can't be bad right!?! Right!!! It was soooo good With it being just the first time ordering and we needed it to go as we had a ton of presentations to prepare for we ordered delivery (the only complaint but worth the wait as it took 60mins to get to us) We ordered just the basics for the first time Chicken Katsu (extra sauce on side) Steak Teriyaki Lau Pork with gravy (extra gravy) Furikake Chicken We got bot white rice and fried rice It also came with macaroni salad (good at first but a little much after the first few bites but not needed since there is so much fooooood) I have to say the fried rice was so amazing, I have never had fried rice that tasted so good, fresh and delicious, it could have been a meal in itself, a nice little grill to it and mmmmm. The Katsu did not get soggy and was fresh and tender The Teriyaki Steak was fork cuttable and I didn't even mind the crispy fat pieces (like fried pork belly but steak) The Pork was so tender and my mouth is watering as I type this and thinking that I must order this for dinner tonight. I have suggested this place to a few friends since and all of them have had the same experience with everything ordered. None of us have been disappointed and I don't think you will be either...
