| - Out and about in the Strip District, and we decided to have a late lunch/early dinner at Osteria. Due to the non-peak time, we were the only ones in the restaurant and chose to sit at the bar.
The bartender was very nice, though not up to speed on the beer info. The samples, however, were very healthy.
We ordered the meatball and a pizza (1/2 pepperoni, 1/2 mushroom. The meatball had a kick to it, and we appreciated the real Parmesan! The pizza was overloaded with cheese, so I ordered a side of sauce to go with. The sauce was super bright, but it was needed to balance out the amount of cheese on the pie.
After our meal, I asked for a taste of their homemade chocolate brownie ice cream. Thanks to the bartender for the healthy sample of that, too :)
I don't think we'll be back to this place, as other locations for dining in Pittsburgh have wowed us a bit more.
