  • I decided I wanted to get a pool and spa for myself for my birthday! Spoke to the boyfriend and he was more than happy to make that happen for me since summer is coming up fast. However, we have a small yard, so we needed to work with someone who was highly skilled in making beautiful designs with a limited budget and space. We researched online and read some reviews. 6 companies came and checked out our backyard to give estimates. Downside to shopping around is you'll deal with a few unprofessional contractors. Out of the 6, two never came out or called me back. The other two woudln't take the project on bc the yard was too small. Another suggested we do something completely different from what we wanted and I was not happy with this bc clearly they weren't listening to what I wanted! It was a very disheartening experience. Then, there's Greencare. Although Greencare may not have had a high rating, they were the only ones who came out to take care of me. They took the time to get to know my needs and worked with what we had. We met with Brandon and he was fantastic to work with! He took measurements, learned about our budget and what we wanted. Then he ran it by Gary - the pool contract manager to confirm Greencare could do the project. Thank goodness we got positive news and they could! We got a design within a week. They started on my pool 10 days later. Everyone I worked with was very responsive to me. I made some last-minute changes to the design as the build went on, and they were accommodating to the changes. Sometimes they'd tell me no it wasn't possible, which is fine. I think telling a customer no is ok. It's all about the delivery of how you say it that matters. They were never irritated or frustrated, they would just say we just want you to be happy. There were some weather delays since it was so windy in LV the past few months. This is inevitable and I think homeowners come in with too high of expectations. These are the pro's. I let them deal with things to give me the end result I wanted. It all worked out and I'm very happy with my new pool! Now, I am the envy of the neighborhood and all of my friends and family.
