| - Came here right before closing and the workers were still very friendly and accommodating to our party of 6, which I really appreciated.
It took a while for us to order since the menu is pretty big, consisting of a variety of milk teas, slushes, and desserts such as the Hong Kong egg waffles, taiyakis, custards, and ice cream.
We decided to go with the Matcha Hong Kong Egg Waffle Combo that consisted of ice cream, mochi, fruity pebbles, & green tea pocky. My sister got the Nutella taiyaki (they currently have a deal: 2 for $3.99) and got strawberry and green tea ice cream with it which was another $1.25 extra for each ice cream which ended up being about $12 total.
Both desserts were okay, but I thought it was pretty pricey for what you actually get. We didn't expect the taiyaki's to be sooo small considering how much my sister paid for it. They packed up her dessert to-go in separate containers (which I'm sure it's because they were closing) but this was inconvenient for my sister who had to prepare the dessert herself before we left, since they didn't even ask if she wanted it wrapped up that way.
The Matcha combo wasn't bad but you barely taste the green tea in the egg waffle which we were hoping for.
I really like the design of the place and how super cute it is. There's a bunch of spots for a nice photo-op, even a corner where you can take pics with their props.
But overall first impression of our visit was just average.
