| - Now let me start out by saying DON'T GET ME WRONG about the fact that I only gave her 1 star...theres a method to my madness...here's why...
I went in because I had purchased a Local Amazon Deal. The deal included a Moroccan Oil deep conditioning treatment, cut, blow dry and style. There was an option to pay an extra $5 to add an eyebrow wax into that so I did so.
Here's how my experience went down...
Moroccan oil deep conditioning treatment...great.
Hair cut...wonderful (all I was looking for was my damaged ends cut off anyway).
Blow dry...lol well I guess as good as a blow dry can be. There's really nothing to that.
Style...well, she just ran a straightening iron through my hair, so I can't really say that's much of styling (minus one star for that).
And finally the eyebrow wax...this is where I took off the rest of the stars and before I get into this, let me paint you a picture. My eyebrows are a light brown (some hairs are very blonde to the point where you can't see them but those weren't the hairs that needed to be waxed) and haven't been waxed in almost and month and a half. I meant to get them waxed sooner but when I saw this Amazon deal I decided to wait until I went in for the haircut also.
My eyebrows weren't bushy or anything, just lacked some maintenance.
Anyway, this was the last thing she did and she said she was running 30 minutes behind and seemed be be in quite a hurry. She started to wax my eyebrows which felt normal to me for the most part, then went on to tweeze one or two hairs (at least that's what it felt like). I thought it was kind of weird when she didn't take the small scissors and trim the longer hairs where the beginning of the eyebrow starts, but I didn't say anything and just let her continue. After maybe 2 minutes she was done. She had me sit up and look her in the face so she can make sure everything was ok. She said it looked good (didn't hand me a mirror) and off I went. I didn't notice anything was wrong until I got in my car and began to drive home. I had the urge to look in my car's vanity mirror to check my eyebrows and to my HORROR, I saw that my left eyebrow, from where my arch starts to the outer part of the eyebrow was gone!! MISSING! Completely waxed off!!!!! Never in my life have I ever had to draw my eyebrows in because I NEVER let them get that thin! Now I'm stuck with having to completely draw on half of my left eyebrow because I look like Spock from Star Trek. I hope to God that my eyebrow grows in soon cause as of right now, it's completely obvious that the left is drawn on and the right is still fairly just as thick as when I got in there.
Anyway, Anne is a really nice person for the most part...she can be short and also unattentive and can sort of make you feel bad because you're starting to cut into another person's appointment if she's running behind but her hair cutting skills are good. But as far as going back for a waxing....yeah, I think I'll just go back to my normal lady who does all my waxing from now on. I just hope that she will have something to wax after this....
So there you go, my honest review. I didn't want to mention where I normally get my eyebrows done because this review has nothing to do with that place, but if anyone needs to know where to get an AMAZING waxing done, feel free to message me and I'll tell you where I go and who to ask for.
