Midweek dinner. Convenient location and nice outdoor seating area (hello, it's Scottsdale) with heaters for shoulder season. Or off season. But, I digress.
Not very busy on a Tuesday, so we were seated immediately. We chose outside, not that it matters to the review. But maybe a bit.
We ordered miso soup and edamame (yes, I know, how cliche) for our first course, and then an assortment of nigiri, including unagi and an unagi roll. The only reason for going into such detail is that the unagi is served hot/warm.
Here is the reason this is four stars -- they brought all of our food in about a one minute window. It came out fast. Very fast. But in reality, too fast.
As for quality -- very interesting take on miso soup -- but good. And all of the fish was fresh and very good. Except for the pacing (or failure at it), the service was outstanding.
