I'm please but concerned all at the Sametime. I call this company because my boss his son lost the keys to his truck. My boss assigned me to this task anyways I call silver eagle locksmith because we are looking for a company to unlock the snugtop shell on the back of the truck when someone answers the very first thing I told is we can't do that kind of lock. I explained to them that this is a very simple lock and the lock looks almost like a file cabinet. So the guy on the phone asks me if I have a picture. So I google'ed the lock number and find it and told him where to look. So he said he needs to ask the technician after a few moments he said sure we could help you. Here's where my concern comes in. They told me they would be here by a certain time and it was getting later and later. So my boss said hey what's the phone number to the locksmith I kindly give it to him. My boss gets back to me and says they will be here shortly. Upon arrival the technician tells my boss it's going to run x amount of dollars for the service call and x amount for the lock pick anyways here's the concern the technician says I'm going to charge you hourly for the lock pick so that's the service call plus the hourly for lock pick. So my boss says well I need it done go ahead and do it. The technician had the lock picked in 2 mins and when I say 2 mins it was more like 1 min maybe even a few seconds. My boss comes in the office very mad and tells me what happens and he wants to charge me for the full amount here's the money deal with it. So a few minutes go by the technician comes into my showroom and tells me how much it's going to be. I said seriously your going to charge us that much and it took you a few seconds to complete and he says yes your boss agreed to it. So I tell him how I feel that it feels unfair he really doesn't care. So I paid him he could see the frustration in my face and asks what's wrong so I kindly explain to him the concern and that I'm also a yelper after finding out that I was a yelper he says to me what will make me happy. I said to I really don't mind paying for the service call but an hour of labor when it didn't even take an hour. So he explained to me that he's entitled to his labor time and I said I understand that but it took just a few seconds can't you charge me like a half hour labor or something. The long I talked with him the long it felt like I was being scammed. So he told me I'm the owner of the company sir and to make you happy I will just charge you the service call fee. I wanted to pay him more because I understood labor times and such but all in all he ended up doing the right thing. The moral to the story is be careful.
