| - When my husband and I first moved to AZ from TN, we needed a vet to care for our two dogs and cat, so we found LifeCare Animal Hospital. For the past year and 1/2, LifeCare has been our vet, and we've had good experiences with them. The staff is friendly, and the doctors seem very knowledgeable. The facility is also by far the nicest I've seen! They're a little more expensive than some other vets, but still fairly reasonably priced.
The reason I'm writing a 3-star review is because we need a vet that can also provide emergency services when needed, and we didn't find that in LifeCare. Our cat got hurt, and we thought her leg may be broken. We called on a Friday morning to make her an appointment, assuming they could squeeze us in that same day, but they unfortunately couldn't fit us in until Monday. Her leg turned out to be okay, but three days is a bit crazy to have to wait for a vet appointment -- especially when your pet is in pain! We've since switched vets and have been able to get same-day appointments when needed in emergency situations.
