Went to the sprint store in December 2016. (forgot to review at the time). I was going to be switching from Verizon to Sprint. I go in and tell the guy that the two lines I have with Verizon should be ported over but one line will need to be switched over later not today.
I leave the store and sure enough a few hours later my secondary line was telling me they could not use their phone after I specifically told them which line needed to stay for a few days. The guy said it would NOT be ported over until the user was ready.
I had then left the store and had to go back the next day. Just how you want to spend your day after being at work all day. Long story short the second day I got there at 6 didn't go home till 9. Told Sprint I was staying with Verizon because I wanted a smooth transition to Sprint and already had a screw up not 2 hours into having the service.
I paid $200+ the initial day in December I didn't get my money back until March or April. My refund should have been processed staring the next day after I purchased the phones somehow it began days later causing it to take even longer. But no way in hell should a refund ever take 3-4 months when you can get tax refunds faster than that.
I spent all that time fighting with customer service and the manager at the store ducking my calls. No one could give a straight answer on how to get the money back.
Customer service would say they will call you back...they rarely did when told that. I would say to call me at times when I was off work so we could speak directly...they call when I'm at work. I was given several different numbers to call and had to explain the situation several times over...so no internal tickets were made to begin with. I'm glad I didn't stay with Sprint as this would have been a terrible decision.
