  • So, I have been Yelping for a little bit and I REALLY REALLY love food. I will always find something positive with the service or food etc. Not today. Not this time. My boyfriend and I went to the Roof Lounge last night to try and have a nice romantic dinner. Upon arrival we asked if we could be seated on the patio overlooking Bloor, no problem, we were seated there. Gorgeous view. On the rooftop at that time it was just him and I and in the corner there was already a group of four girls. The woman who sat us gave us menus to look over. 5 minutes after that a gentleman came out to place candles on all of our tables, and acknowledged we were there. Fine. Another 10 minutes went by and another couple was seated behind us and given menus again by the hostess. Following them, two girls were seated outside also AND given blankets for themselves to us. Which, we were never offered. But ok. So now, time goes by and we are still waiting - the SAME gentleman who put the candles out comes back outside and offers BOTH of the tables who came after us drinks. I couldn't believe this. If the restaurant is busy then none of us would have gotten served, fine, we leave because we are hungry and cannot wait any longer. However, for us to NOT be spoken to at all and everyone else around us to get served that came after us? Absolutely not. This is unacceptable. As I read the other comments on here, their service seems to be an ongoing issue for many as well. I'm never coming back here again.
