Great hike, but it's a little strenuous. The first part has a slight incline, but once you get to the switchbacks, it gets steep and the paths can be very narrow.
The trail had no markers on it whatsoever. We ended up on another trail to another destination because of this and only figured it out when we talked to other hikers.
My only downside of the hike was the litter and dog poop (both on and off the trails) that people left behind (C'mon people!) If you are touchy around dogs, be wary, because NO ONE had their dog on a leash once they got a little up the trail.
