I read the yelp reviews but I didn't think the company could be this bad. I was wrong.
- Gothic installed our irrigation system on our new house, and i realized one of the sprinkler zones didn't work properly when started from the timer. On a 1 year old system this was disappointing.
- When I called for service they were quick to tell me it wouldn't be covered under warranty - without even looking at the problem. Warning #1.
- I called for service on Monday and they would visit Thursday or Friday. A 2 DAY service window. Warning #2.
- Thursday and Friday come, and no visit and no calls giving me an update. Warning #3.
- I called that Friday at noon for an update, left a message and no return call. Waited the weekend (maybe someone was out of the office or schedule got pushed, i understand things come up) and called again on Monday. Left a voicemail with no return call. I even called and spoke to the operator to see if my service rep was in, and after telling her my name I was told that everyone was in a meeting but they will return my call. Warning #4.
I have no prior history with them other than the install, but it's obvious they were avoiding me or didn't want to help.
I called another irrigation company to see when they could come provide assistance. They explained to me it was their busy season but they could come out the FOLLOWING DAY in a 2 hour window and they fixed the problem same day. Both of the valves needed to be replaced...on a system installed 1 year ago!
I was shocked at the lack of customer service from Gothic for an existing customer and I wouldn't recommend them for any work. Two weeks later and I still haven't received a follow up call after multiple attempts to work with them.
Take the advice and reviews you read here and look elsewhere.
