  • I can't believe I haven't written a review for Buck yet! We were referred to Buck by a friend when I was looking for someone to do our maternity shoot. I wanted a very laid-back shoot with more of a lifestyle feel than super posed, and that's exactly what Buck delivered. We did the shoot in our home with a mixture of shots in our bedroom, the nursery, and some outdoor photos and I have to tell you that at 8 months pregnant it was pretty difficult for me to feel beautiful at that point, but after getting the photos back I felt more beautiful and feminine than I ever have. We knew after that experience with Buck that we also wanted him to do our newborn shoot when our daughter Charlotte was born. We wanted it to be the same kind of laid back feel and again did it in our home. This time he brought his wife with him to help with the "styling" and posing of our baby girl. Let.me.tell.you. She is a freaking baby whisperer. She showed us a technique for getting Charlotte to sleep that we still use today 7 months later! Once again, the photos turned out absolutely beautifully and will be photos that I will cherish forever. Buck is now our family photographer. I don't think we will ever use anyone else - I'm actually planning on reaching out to him again in the next few weeks to book Charlotte's one year photos and our Christmas photos (Buck, if you're reading this, be expecting my call shortly!). We can't recommend him enough, he is so incredibly talented and has a way of making you comfortable and relaxed through the whole process - something that I think is the secret ingredient for being a stellar photographer.
