Brought my wife here on August 4 to have a radical hysterectomy performed be dr bradley monk via the DaVinci robot. First place from my wife's diagnosis to surgery only took 2 weeks. Dr monk is an amazing physician with an absolute unparalleled bedside manner. We showed up at 530 am for a 730 am surgery every member of the staff was friendly and very professional especially considering the fact it was 530 in the morning! Upon my wife being wheeled back I was given a pager to provide me with updates went to a waiting room where again was greeted by friendly professional staff. I was checked in and greeted by sherry the o.r. liason who explained her role n told me that if i needed anything to let her know. After being there a couple hours I discovered my pager wasn't working. Sherry, upon receiving updates and even taking the initiative to get updates herself, kept me informed of my wife's progress ever step of the way reassuring me that everything was going according to plan. Realizing that I was here as long as I was, her concerned turned to me around 130 cuz she knew I hadn't eaten since the night before. She made sure that I talked to the doctor after the surgery so that I had time to go to the cafeteria before it closed. Being born in this hospital 44 years ago and seeing the level of care and attention my wife and I received makes me not only proud to be a native but also is humbling that so many poeple give their time and themselves so selflessly to ensure that patients and family members needs are met. These poeple are truly remarkable, and to anyone who posts a negative review my guess is you wouldn't have a clue about what I'm talking about cuz if I had to guess you live in a bubble n anyone or anything outside that bubble doesn't concern you. Volunteer for just one day doing what they do n let's c if u still have the same selfish views nevermore u probably think ur above that sorta thing anyway.
