  • I went to the ER at Mountain view hospital cause I was having pain due to my gallbladder for the second time. The first time they sent me home with Norco and called it a day. The second time is when I thought I need to write a review. Went in for pain and they said they need to immediately take it out. They said my gallbladder was in bad shape and we were all relieved that they removed it.. it was just suppose to take a half hour.. I guess my gallbladder was so bad that it took them 3 hours.. I was so thankful that they got it out of me. The only problem is they discharge me with this damn tube in my stomach.. right on the holidays... I don't have insurance so that alone makes them treat you differently. I heard people in the hallway talking about me and my transgender (male to female) lifestyle and my appearance. That for one is non of there business. The whole 4 days I was there there were staff not using the right pronouns and just kept addressing me as "he".. after repeatedly correcting them. I've been in uncomfortable situations before and when you get my age. You just let things go. But I spoke to the head nurse at the moment just so it was addressed. She basically said she has no control over what people say. Now I'm still stuck with this hose in me. No insurance so I have to pay 132 dollars to get this damn thing off of me on my post op appointment. Didn't have the money the first time I went in and asked if they could get it out for free.. they said all the surgeons are all on vacation so I had to reschedule the following week... so I am stuck with this hose in my stomach for another week so that would be 2 weeks with this hose in me. Has anyone else had an experience with these people? I'm simply describing my experience.
