The Farm at South Mountain is hands-down the most beautiful place in the Phoenix area. I could've spent all day wandering and relaxing on their property.
We originally came for breakfast but missed it by a few minutes. The Farm Kitchen was already PACKED with a Tuesday lunch crowd. The counter-service workers worked quickly, though, to get orders out. We got the Spicy Buffalo Chicken Wrap ($12), the Tuscan ($12), potato salad ($3) and a lemon bar. Everything came in a cute basket.
While I desperately wanted to LOVE the food here (and I was starving!), my sandwich fell short. Overall it was bland... both the chicken & herb mayo didn't taste like anything. The marinated artichokes were overpowering, so it was kind of like a sour artichoke on bread sandwich. The Spicy Buffalo Chicken Wrap was oddly sour as well. The potato salad & lemon bar were excellent, though!
